Pretty simple idea, I'm not quite sure how simple it'd be to implement. Basically changing "70fcc543-6746-79ba-02f5-2cba85f38950" to something more managable and easier to type manually, such as "7653453347" or something like that. It shouldn't have letters in it, or dashes, just numbers. It should have enough digits that there will never ever be so many objects that the MUD runs out of GOIDs to assign to new objects, but small enough that it's at least feasable to type out manually.

This would be plenty simple. To be honest, the current system is from way back when I just wanted something that worked. As long as it is a unique string, the GOID can be anything. Nothing depends on a specific implementation.
